These Duplex Steel Check Valves are constructed from Duplex Stainless Steel 2205 or S31803, which contains about 22% chromium, 5–6% nickel, 3% molybdenum, and nitrogen, all balanced with iron. The unique dual-phase microstructure of ferrite and austenite gives them exceptional strength—almost double that of standard austenitic stainless steels—along with remarkable resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking.
