Super Duplex Steel Washers are made from a balanced mixture of approximately 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 3.6% molybdenum, along with nitrogen and tungsten. This composition provides exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The material exhibits a tensile strength of about 800 MPa, yield strength around 550 MPa, and excellent impact toughness even at low temperatures. With a duplex microstructure of ferrite and austenite, these washers combine the benefits of both phases—high mechanical strength and superior corrosion resistance.
